Original black walnut woodcarving of a foal bedded down titled "Lazy Day".

Carving dimensions are approximately 8" x 4" x 4 3/4".

Each carving is signed and numbered on the bottom by Joan. When she completed her first piece at age 13 she marked it on the bottom of the base as #1, her second as #2 and so on. The number on each piece indicates it's place out of all the carvings she has ever completed.

To dust, apply a light coat of lemon oil with a paint brush and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
